MycoMine AB is strengthening its Board of Directors with the addition of Jane Walerud, Anna Kinberg Batra, and Lisa Åberg. At the company’s Annual General Meeting on June 3, the three were elected to the board with the aim of accelerating the company’s expansion in biological remediation of soil and water across the Nordic region and Europe.
“We are in a phase where we are moving from technology validation to broad commercialization. With this strengthened board, we gain a unique combination of entrepreneurship, industrial experience, and public sector expertise - crucial for scaling rapidly and internationally,” says Magnus Ivarsson, CEO and founder of MycoMine.
In connection with their appointments, Lisa Åberg and Anna Kinberg Batra have also chosen to invest in the company. Jane Walerud is already an investor through her family, meaning that the entire new board has a clear financial commitment to MycoMine.
Following the Annual General Meeting, the board now consists of the company’s founders, Magnus Ivarsson and Björn Ohlsén, together with the new members Jane Walerud, Anna Kinberg Batra, and Lisa Åberg - a composition that combines operational experience with strong external expertise.
